Vermiel was exactly what a HC should be in terms of how he handles his players. He needed a better defensive coordinator and a GM that would address his team's weaknesses. He was too loyal to his staff and that's what kept him from winning here. However, you'll never find a coach that better understands how to deal with his players. I can't believe you honestly see Vermiel as "grandpa Dick" or you'd ever consider Todd Haley an upgrade over him. |

I don't give a shit about DV. In fact, I kinda dislike him at this point for wasting that great offense we had for a few yrs and did not do shit about the D. If Haley doesn't fix the OL, same goes for him.
