@people that think Sanchez would be a better fit

Are you freaking stupid? Serious question. Sanchez would be 0-3 and probably look worse behind this oline.Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Manning would be 0-3. There is NO time to throw. Every time Cassell dropped back he 3-4 defenders in his face.

When Vermiel was here we had a great oline...one of the best in the league. 2 HoFers helped pave the way for Priest, LJ and company. They gave time to an above average QB (Trent Green) and below average receivers to field the best offense in the league. You all freaking witnessed it...so how did you become so dumb and forget that the Oline makes the offense, just like the Dline (pass rush) makes the defense?

Fix the Oline-Matt has time to actually look further than 3-5 yards down the field. Becomes a star player (Trent was as a average-above average QB) and the RB's rush for 1700+ yards.

Fix the Dline(time and coaching)/OLBs(new players)--Our defense actually looks like Philly's Defense. I'd probably take our dbacks over theres and many other teams starters but they look like crap because NO ONE CAN COVER for 5-8 seconds play after play...not even Deon Sanders in his prime.

So stop with the Sanchez posts. Stop with the Tebow posts (which really makes you look incredibly stupid) and realize that our offense will continue to suck until the Oline is FIXED. It's going to be a VERY long season.

Heh, "pissed away". He threw a hissy fit and demanded a trade. The owner got tired of his bitchy little attitude and traded him. We didn't have a chance to draft Sanchez.

You had the chance. You didn't pull the trigger. Pretty simple.

It pains me that I think for years to come the rest of the division is going to go "you all coulda had Sanchez but you traded for Cassel, idiots" and then make fun of us.

The same Orton that has us at 3-0. How's Cassell's team doing? Oh yeah...

Kansas City hates, HATES unproven Mojo. Just will not go there. Even if the mojo is clearly slapping them in the face saying, "TAKE ME! TAKE ME! I WILL MAKE YOU BETTER"!

Nope.

The Safety First sign still hangs above multiple office doors at One Arrowhead Drive.

I expect both Cassel and Tyson Jackson to play well for years to come. If they do, nobody's going to say shit even if Sanchez ends up the better QB of the two.

That sums it up we love the underdog or the great white hope, god forbid we have true greatness or a guy with swagger.

Bullshit, if Sanchez becomes a franchise caliber QB people will always say we ****ed it up. Nothing is worth a franchise QB not even a 3-4 end.

And it has nothing to with Cassel or me hating him, it's how I view what Sanchez will be.

Even if he's right, do you think the Colts would trade Peyton Manning for Matt Schaub and Mario Williams?

And that's being nice because Jackson will never be Williams and Schaub is probably the best Cassel can end up as.

And again, if Cassel becomes a franchise QB, which I don't see any reason why he couldn't be, than nobody will say shit.

The Giants passed up on Philip Rivers, who ended up a much better QB than Eli. Think they're upset about that decision? You don't have to have the better QB. You just have to have the right QB for your team and I don't see why Cassel couldn't fit into a solid future plan.
