This past week, he, generally, had very little time to operate. When he did, he was inconsistent.

Let's hope this improves. Right now, if I had to guess, Sanchez will always be the hammer that some fans (can rightfully) use to bludgeon Pioli.
As I said in another thread.....If Matt Cassel is never good for us we should all be allowed to go out to the stadium and set Pioli's car on fire and throw donuts at his bald spot while calling him a fat doughy dipshit.

I think the Cassel decision was a mistake, obviously.

But what I'm hopeful about is that perhaps there will be some type of unintended consequence that will cause us all to look back upon the decision in a different light.

For example, maybe we're in a position to acquire a ricockulous prospect--I'm talking P. Manning level--2 years from now, and we would have never done this with Sanchez on the roster...

Eh...whatever.

Damn well could be.

And I know that I might get blasted for this, but Gabbert out of Mizzou has ridiculously impressive tools and intangibles. Spread be damned, I'd put him on the Chiefs roster today.

He's one of the most physically gifted quarterbacks I've ever seen.

The dude has Elway like mobility and arm strength with the size of Peyton Manning.

He's a ****ing prototype's prototype.

I will at least say that they've opened up the number of routes they run since they aren't limited by Chase's wobble launcher.

It's ****ing shocking to be able to see a kid that big be able to tuck it and run the way he does.

Right now, he's at least a mid first rounder, IMO. And when people start taking a tape and clock to the kid at the combine, I have a hard time envisioning him falling out of the top 10.

Absolute freak.

Terrelle Pryor is a freak at running the ball. He's 6'6". He's really bad about locking onto his recievers though.

Like I said that's 3 years from now were talking an epic fail run to still be this bad in 3 years, if we've just been marginally bad or even improved some we won't be bad enough to get him...

If we've shown some improvement and Pioli is still here he isn't going to draft a QB with his boy here, he's not going to admit he ****ed up his big decision.

We're likely talking 3 years till there's another viable QB prospect and to be in position to get him we will have to have basically continued to be this bad for 3 more years...

If Pioli is still here Cassel is his guy and is still going to be out there playing QB. Sauto disageed with me but like I said if we're sitting here in 3 years and we're no better and Cassel is a bum...Pioli has gotta go.

If he was wrong on that Cassel decision he should lose his job.

Our plight is so pathetic, that this is what we have to hope for...

Matt Barkley, Blaine Gabbert, or looking at Rivals recruiting for high school QBs who might be able to help us in 4-5 years.

Our luck we'll end up with Jimmy Clausen cause Charlie Weis is coaching him and he'll come highly recommended to Pioli from "one of his guys" in Weis.
