I don't know if I can even answer this question in 2009. Ultimately talent wins games, and there just isn't much yet. There've been a lot of guys in rebuilds like this that fans wanted run out of town in year one that eventually showed themselves to be good coaches. I think in the end the job Pioli does will go a long way towards determining what kind of job Haley does.

I'm asking because we seem to have a lot of people who think Haley is a shitty coach. And yet the poll results don't show that at all.

These are the same people who laugh at SD getting Norv Turner, laugh at the Broncos and still claim the Raiders to be the worst team in football.
