I'd rather have turf than the ****ing abortion of a grass field that NE*, Pitt, and KC have had for years that gets so torn up that it affects the outcome of the game.

Yes, and that only happens to road teams.

Grass fields are fine. Shitty grass fields are an embarrassment. The game should be decided by the players on the field, not by officials, and not by someone slipping on a piece of bermuda that doesn't have a deep enough root structure.

I don't know if teams can do it now but they used to screw with their field to give their team an advantage. I have no problem with that, baseball teams do it all the time.

If I could get away with it if a team that was alot faster than my team I would water the field until it was a mud pit just to offset the advantage.
