Chiefs Jason La Canfora Rumors

Just saw on "Around the League" on NFL Network. He's reporting that in addition to Brady Quinn and Shawne Merriman, that Glenn Dorsey could be on the move. He says that the Chiefs coaches are down on him and some teams might be looking to move in for him. Also said that DJ could be had for "the right package." Sorry, no link....just saw it.

Sure, I'd trade Dorsey. For a first from a team that isn't going to make the playoffs. That first would help us more than Dorsey ever will, I suspect. All that hybrid garbage in the offseason was just that. He's never going to fit what they're forcing. Let's say they could get the 15th pick (which they wouldn't, but just for shits and giggles), I'd take that and be done with it. Suck up the loss of value in 10 picks and money already paid to him. Clark doesn't spend on FAs so he can afford it.

Alas ... redundant. He won't be moved.

i feel as though the bowe situation is to make him better, i said in another thread that IMO there's a reason you dont see haley get on LJ, goff, etc, it's because he knows they will be gone soon. he gets on the guys who will/should be here when we are good again

Shit...give us a 2nd for Dorsey and a 4th for DJ and lets turn this shit around...I mean...come the **** on...we have $55M invested in our DE's in a 3-4...just get him off of our team while he still has SOME value...

At this point the only players the Chiefs have worth keeping are:

Bowe (though I bet he could be had for a price as well)
Castle
Colquitt
Succoup
Flowers
Jackson (if only because its his first season)
Albert (though if the right trade were offered, I bet he would be gone too)
