Peyton Manning

So...

Do you guys still think Tom Brady is better than Peyton Manning?

Everyone always said that he played with the better supporting cast...which is why Tom was better.

Now Peyton is playing behind a terrible offensive line and throwing to the likes of Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon...having arguably his best year ever...just like I always said...it wasn't the OTHER players...it was Peyton Manning.

So...

Is Brady still better than Manning?

Just curious.

What about the time you said that the '08 Chiefs should sign Jeff Garcia so they could make a playoff run?

Or when you claimed that Tony Romo was a top 3 QB?

Or when you claimed that Thigpen was better than Palmer?

Or when you claimed that Favre was going to have a great year for the Jets last year.

Dude, your track record sucks. You have the credibility of KC Johnny when it comes to shit like this.

Watch a Colts game, pay attention to that offensive line, and then get back to me. Peyton Manning would make our offensive line look above average.

Though, this thread does give me some self satisfaction...two years ago when I made this same point...everyone on the site ganged up on me and told me how much better Brady was etc. etc. etc.
2 years ago, most probably thought, and rightfully so, that Brady WAS the better QB.

But people tend to go with a "what have you done for me lately" attitude, and Brady has played 5 games in the past 2 years, while Manning is lighting it up this year.

The entire argument is reeruned, as they are both elite, HOF QB's.

omg this sums up the biggest ****ing bullshit glamour stick that is one, Tom Brady.

He is not more clutch.
He HAS NOT played with inferior talent...

He has, however, been on the better team his whole career and has had, however, the benefit of playing for the best coach...perhaps...of all time.

Look at what Matt Cassel did last year...that team isn't all about the QB...

Now...take Manning off the Colts...and I guarantee you that...

A) They don't win 11 games.

And

B) They are probably worse than the Chiefs (and that's saying something).

If that right there doesn't show you how great Peyton Manning is then I don't know what to tell you. Living in Illinois, I get the thrill of having every Colts game jammed down my throat and trust me...that dude is UNBELIEVABLE.

Yep, all Brady does is whines for calls after defenders brush him on his leg, and then pumps his fist when he gets them. What a competitor.

I can't believe that anyone would say that Brady is better than Manning. Brady is overrated and is constantly blown my major media companies. Manning is an attention whore, but he's much better and is able to control the game infinitely better than Brady. Hands down, no argument.

Ok buddy.

I think Palmer is vastly overrated and Romo is vastly underrated.

I bet Romo turns out to be a great, great, great QB.

Oh, and, I don't remember saying Favre was going to be great with the Jets last year...I remember taking him in the 2nd round of a QB HEAVY (LIKE, YOU NEED TWO QB'S TO COMPETE) fantasy league last year (Peyton 1st round, Favre 2nd round...2nd place out of 24 teams finish)...and he did start out having a remarkable year until he got hurt.

I also said last year Aaron Rodgers and Kurt Warner were great value picks who would end up being top 10 fantasy QB's...

So why don't you **** yourself.

Hey...you want to know a good bet 'Hamas'?

Today...Houston is like +227 against the Bengals.

I GUARANTEE Houston beats the Bengals...

We're going to see Palmer's true colors today...if he's so great, he'd light up that shitty secondary Houston is sporting.

I bet Houston wins this game.

You're undeniably ****ing bent.

The first two SB's Brady won he had almost NOTHING on offense. They pulled games from out their ass almost every week in the 4th quarter.

Meanwhile, Payed-a-Ton is putting up money fantasy numbers all year long and chokes against teams like the Broncos or Dolphins come playoff time almost every year...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

And don't forget that the reason the Broncos always had a strong running game was due to the semi-illegal chop-blocking that their O-line perfected. Instead of playing like men they'd dive for knees like pussies.

Houston's an underrated offense, and that money line is too high. That's not as revolutionary of a thought as you think, Hootie the Greek.

I'm not saying it is...I'm just saying that Vegas is overrating Cincy this week...and the Saints.

The Giants are like +167...the best ****ing road team in the NFL. They are going to win by 10.

Vegas is getting TORCHED this year.

This thread is a great microcosm of the problem of debate on this site.

One person makes a dumbass assertion that isn't grounded in any form of tangible reality.

People who don't agree with him take the exact opposite opinion, as though there are only two polar extremes to choose from.
