Peyton Manning
So...

Do you guys still think Tom Brady is better than Peyton Manning?

Everyone always said that he played with the better supporting cast...which is why Tom was better.

Now Peyton is playing behind a terrible offensive line and throwing to the likes of Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon...having arguably his best year ever...just like I always said...it wasn't the OTHER players...it was Peyton Manning.

So...

Is Brady still better than Manning?

Just curious.

He still has Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark, so let's not act like he doesn't have anyone to throw to. He is the foundation of that team though. Without him they are horrible IMO.

I've never understood this comment, as Peyton has never missed a start in his career.

And in the 15 games Jim Sorgi saw action, he has a 63.5% completion percentage, and a 6/1 TD/INT ratio - and the Colts are 12-3 in those games.

I guess I didn't realize it was even close who the better QB is. Hands down, Manning was/is the better QB.





Larry Johnson on the other hand is a HUGE waste of a roster spot. Sorry....didn't want to start my own thread.

I've always been a sucker for getting the franchise qb at the top of the draft. it's no secret I coveted both joey harrington and byron leftwich (blech)... however, I also wanted us to trade the farm to get peyton manning. now, would he have had the success he's had there, here? who knows. we'll never know.
