LJ suspended indefinitely

Ok Mods, Since this is not an official suspension and is now a misleading thread title....why hasn't the title been changed or the posters name been changed to something punishing and demeaning???

The title isn't incorrect, is it.

Some people are just assuming that he was suspended by the league when in reality it's the Chiefs that did it.

Calm down nancy, when I first made the post the title in the headline said he was suspended. After time things have now been changed. So really I can't help the fact that the title was what I originally put, and since Haley won't comment on it, the press is now flip floping for a solid headline.

Haley said that Johnson's banishment from the team facility is "not a suspension at this time."

The semantics are probably important with regards to triggering responses, procedures and requirements, much like the police choosing to avoid the word "suspect" in favor of "person of interest".

Statement on RB Larry Johnson

The Kansas City Chiefs and the National Football League are continuing to investigate the alleged comments made by Larry Johnson. Until that review is complete, the Chiefs have instructed Larry to refrain from practicing with the Chiefs or participating in other team activities. A decision regarding Larry’s status will be made once the investigation has concluded.

Sounds like he is deep do do either way.
