Had the conversation been about any other player, he would have called them an anchor as well - it's not like he's going to shit on his players.

And personally, I could give two shits what JJ thinks. If Jackson is a Russell Maryland clone, we've been ****ed right in the ass.

Dude, I DID NOT MAKE THIS ANALOGY. SCOTT PIOLI did after the draft. I am just relaying what SCOTT PIOLI feels would make the dude a successful pick. And in my mind if he anchors a super bowl defense and does things that allow other players to get pro bowl numbers, then yeah, success.
