The loss of the 4 LB's who are all starters for their NFL teams now is just crippling. The guys on the field are talented but they don't react as quickly or as surely as the past crew which isn't surprising.

To me when Barkley was named the starter they knew this was a rebuild/down year coming in. The Dline has actually been pretty good, the LB's have been a major downgrade, the CB's have issues Mays is about the only thing in the secondary at this point.

Yeah, SC is young. The type of back that has given fits to SC in the past. Mays seems to be coming alive in the 2nd half, did a lot of spectating on tackles.

For anyone who complained Mays had several open field wrap tackles in this game, since I hear people complain about that all the time.

2nd half has had a much better game. Still have the questions about him covering, but he does wrap up on running plays.

I think he's a fine cover guy I do think the poor play at LB is causing him to be put closer to the line which hurts the coverage because Will Harris is an abysmal cover guy at the other safety spot.

Still something about a guy in coverage with no man responsibilities, not having more int's, that bothers me. Still like him as a player though, just not 1st choice if Berry is there.

Shareece Wright's ineligibility ruling really destroyed Mays shot to be a playmaker this year.

Cool. That has been my biggest problem with him.
