That's a little unfair. I don't think anyone in New Orleans felt Colston was an instant Pro-Bowl WR when they drafted him...

He's a worse version of Colston considering he's had suspect coaching at best to this point... Playing with Brees and having Payton coach him up... I'd say he's far more talented than Meachem at this stage.

I'm saying I'm not sure it would be good to have 2 very similar WR's like that in a downfield offense, if they were west coast it might work.

The only time I think having similar WR's is good is if it's like Jackson and Maclin where both guys can fly.

I would counter by saying that the Saints are often using 3-4 WR sets, so there'll always be a few more burner-type WRs on the field. Throw in Reggie out of the backfield...

Not that I'm complaining about the state of the Saints offense.
