Conspiracy buffs?

Ok, who here is at least somewhat of a conspiracy buff? Which ones do you believe strongly in and which do you think are bs? Any of your own?

I will cling forever to my belief that Barrack Obama was not born in the United States. I don't care what those lyin' Hawaiians say.

9/11 – maybe not a top-to-bottom ‘inside job’ (let’s face it, the Gov couldn’t slap their A**es with both hands), but I think they knew it was about to happen and let it happen. They thought of it as a great opportunity to push the middle east agenda (Lusitania, Gulf of Tonkin, etc..).

New World Order/Bilderburg (sp?) group etc.

Fed Reserve – private institution that dictates nearly everything.

JFK – obviously. Zero doubt in my mind it was a conspiracy.

Credit – keep everyone in debt so they have to keep working

#2 is a good one; hadn't thought of that.
I would also probably include anyone producing any type of alternative fuel/propulsion etc for vehicles that would effect the oil industry.

I use to think there was a conspiiracy involved in the JFK assisination. But after seeing the scientific evidence of the history channel and abc news special the single biullet makes sense. It's a straight line from Connellys thigh to the book depository window. We just can't accept one man with a gun can alter history so dramitically.

It would be completly arrogant of us to think we are the only intelligent beings to have ever lived on all the planets, galaxies that we can see in the sky and the other worlds we know are there but can't see. Now whether the government has captured alien bodies or aircrafts and are keeping it from us? Possibly. But, is it a fact? No.

9/11 was an inside job? Bush allowed it to happen for some nefarious reason? No frikkin way.

This, and people who say it was an obvious inside job infuriate me immensely.

What does being Muslim have to do with being a citizen of the US?

The nearest solar system is so far away, that it would take hundreds of thousands of years to get there with technology and a fuel source we have no way of even remotely attaining right now.

The world is about 15 billion years old. There are no highly developed organisms similar to us that have developed fast enough to be able to come to our solar system in that time. There is no evidence of string theory that allows this highly unlikely level of transportation to be possible. It's a brain toy for scientific dreamers.
I'm not really big on aliens or conspiracy but your premise here is reliant on the falsehood that everything in the universe is as old as our world as well as took the same paths of evolution as humans and the earth.

The age of the universe is an educated guess by "us" as is everything else we know or think we know (see the room for error?) and I'm not sure what string theory proves about alien life but I won't argue on that point because I'm not versed enough in the subject.

Now, I'm not going to sit here and try to convince you that you're wrong or right but saying YOU know for sure what's out there in the universe when we have yet to make it past the moon is as ignorant as anything I've read on this board.

Our world is about 5 billion years old. The universe is probably 15 billion.

I think there are other life forms out there, and possibly similar to ourselves. Why not? It's very likely. I didn't say I know for sure what is out there. What I'm arguing is that they're not coming here. And we're not going there. It's too far away.

Anyone who thinks we can get in a ship and go to the next solar system has no sense of the grand reality of the galaxy.

Earth is just a reality show for live forms on other planets. The other life forms are invisible to the human eye. They have several agents hidding car keys and poking holes in condoms for ratings.
