IIRC, people were going apeshit at the thought of taking Albert at #5.

Dorsey was an outstanding selection.

And Johnson taught us all a valuable lesson. Not really similar to the above.

actually i was referring to everyone saying the Dorsey would never fall to us.

Albert will never fall
Derrick Johnson will never fall
Eric Berry will never fall

imo any team is gonna think twice before taking a safety in the top 5.

You better dam sure than you are getting Ed Reed impact before you take a safety that high.

We can get Boo Robinson to fill our NT need later in the draft.

When the draft finally rolls around, I think KC's 2A is going to be sitting pretty for T Cody.

We do NOT want Cody.

He is a 2-down player. Plays about 15-20 snaps a game.

I'll sniff Cody if he falls to our 2b. But for now a team with less needs and less at stake will take him towards the bottom of the 1st.

I hope he's actually about 30-40 lbs heavier than what he's listed at.

Because 295 won't cut it. Am I missing something?

Cody SHOULD fall into round 2 if not rd 3 or 4.

he's a part-time specialist player

1st and 2nd down IF the other team isn't throwing the ball much.

most teams just can't afford to use a 1st or even a 2nd on such limited production.

Yes, but with Haleys Hitleresque training camp, whos to say that he won't be in shape to play more?

My bad.

Ugh Haley just p!sses me off with that stuff.

He'd probably find a way to slim down Cody down to where he'd be useless as a NT.

I know I'd rather have the heavier 340 Brandon Albert back.

people are already talking about how Mays is probably better suited to play linebacker in the NFL because he's such a liability in pass coverage.

Dallas had the same problem with Roy williams ... they just couldn't afford to have him on the field because teams would go after him in the passing game.

you don't take a guy without a position in the 1st round.

Mays = 2nd round
