VARSITY
"Official" Voting is now open for Logical's award for best CP thread of 2009 thread

The battle Royal for Logical's award for thread of the year has began. The winner gets automatic iinduction into the Hall of Classics.

All threads that recieved at least +1 nominations in the nomination tread made it into this poll. Poll is open for 3 days. Phobia's Carl resign's thread was disqualified because it was posted in 2008.

Any dupe accounts or new accounts(less than 5 posts) are ineligible to vote and their votes will be discarded. Any nominee caught being a part of something like this will be disqualified. We will keep all graft and bribery out in the open. All bribery/graft is allowed and encouraged and will only pertain to that thread in which the bribe/graft was posted. Any new poll or thread means new graft and or bribes. We will keep track of the known bribes and graft in the opening post. Once nominated, it’s official and the nominee or the person who nominated the nominee can’t withdraw. There is no dropping out and throwing support to another nominee/poster.

Known Bribes:

$27,934 for every vote for the "no thread is worthy" option courtsey of Phobia.

The whole point of this is to have some fun, entertainment and distraction from how much our team sucks. You think it’s stupid, fine and dandy. But, please don’t anyone take this too seriously. I know some will really want to earn that “Logical Memorial Award” but let’s don’t stray too far from the entertainment. Stick to having some fun with this idea.

If we have a clear leader/winner in the results of this poll, this will be the final poll. If the vote is close, we will have another final death cage poll between the top 4 finalists. What is "close"? The community will decide, not the academy.

I'll give you $10 casino cash to vote now. Don't care which option you choose. Just vote. I suspect this will be your best offer.

I just changed my mind. $2500 to voters for "no thread is worthy". Considering there was no award in 2008 and "Carl resigns" is the greatest, most anticipated thread in the history of this site then none are worthy.

I'm just honored to have been nominated. However, I feel that GIF'D up should be the winner, especially given the time invested in it by the thread starter, and the endless entertainment that comes from it.

I had to go with Rainman's Most notorious Villains thread. I think Jim would have enjoyed that one.

My only complaint about the GIF'd up thread is that it would be a bit of shame to move it to the HOC. While it is an extremely interesting thread, much of its value lies in the fact that it is current, so I'd wonder if it will be as interesting to someone reading 5 years from now.

But if that is what is decided by the academy, it shall be done.

I don't see a problem archiving it after Week 17 is over.

GIF'D UP 2010 will take it's place.

You should have waited.

$10,000 to all voters for "no thread is worthy" from this point forward.

CaliforniaChief, listopencil, rtmike, Simply Red have already been paid their dirty money.

My fellow academy members and I shall take this under advisment.

Now then... Who's gonn get Gonzo over the 1.5 million mark in casino dollars???

As the self appointed V.P. of the academy, I must hold my standards high. Public office is a low paying gig and I need bribe money for the MVP thread in two weeks.
