**C.P. 2009 MVP Award Nominations**

Alas, the time is upon us....

Another wonderful installment of the 2009 Academy Awards.

Brought to you by your wonderful CP Academy.

This award must abide by all of the Academy rules and regulations which can be found here.

The Academy views this award as the most important and distinguished so please take your time in considering who you would like to nominate.

Now then, time for some specifics:

•You may nominate yourself however; you will need three other posters to agree. (We view this as douchebaggery btw)

•Please cite a specific reason why you nominate the poster, you can post a link or just write up a quick few lines about what they contributed in 2009. All nominations must be seconded in order to be considered.

•REMEMBER, this award is for 2009, therefore when you nominate someone make sure it’s for something they did this year.

We don't have a maximum or minimum required amount for nominations, (the more the better IMO)
**EDIT** Maximum is 50.

•Academy members ARE eligible for nomination.

**Edit** Once a nomination is seconded; that's good enough. I don't have time to track how many times one particular poster is nominated.
Thanks.

1. Rainman +4

Mecca for knowing more about football than anyone employed by any NFL team. We should all thank God at night for allowing him to share his vast knowledge with us on this forum. Clark Hunt should fire Pioli and Haley and hire Mecca as both GM and head coach. Then Mecca could hire himself as both offensive and defensive coordinators.

We'd be the greatest team in the history of organized sports.

The only real fallback for these awards is that someone will always be left off and get their panties in a bunch. I tried to include as many as possible but the nominations hinge on the posters. I know that a few "icons" were left off up to this point and I apologize. But remember, we still have a few days left before I open the polls so speak up guys.

Yep, thrown everyone with a +1 nomination in the poll and then have a final poll of the top 4 or 5 in a deathcage grudge match for the MVP title.

How does that sound to everyone?

We are going to leave the nomination thread open until after the holiday and the game on sunday so there is plenty of time left for nominations and +1 nominations.

Everyone needs to understand that this has no importance what so ever and it is nothing but a lark from bored fans of a losing team.

Well,
Penz and Milkman are up there but the others aren't. I've nominated at least a half-dozen. If you have time, start nominating with a quick blurb and I'll get them up there.

Thanks Luv.

It was a gag.

Close your eyes and ask yourself seriously if I give two shits about a virtual popularity contest... Really?

Click your heels together three times then slap yourself...twice.

I know I'm at least popular enough that you'll hop in my lap whenever the opportunity presents itself. You're Jonesy's lapdog. Always have been.

Carry on sir...

I'm going blind...lol I see demon, but I'm still overlooking milkman.

I nominated KcMizzou, but no one has given him the +1.
