Based on what? Because you didn't like the Tyson Jackson pick?

I hated the other picks in the draft. But none of the other picks were off value and the Pats generally didn't draft off value either. I don't know where we get the idea that it's a given that we'll reach. If they do, I'll be livid.

no.
based on the last few times they've been in the top 5 - they've drafted OL/DL.

I just don't think the chiefs are willingm to gamble on the risk of a top 5 playmaker, in case he doesn't work out.

this is true; font office is different.
last year was a bit different for their first draft; they weren't taking a QB ec, and were switching to 3-4.

hopefully this year, we'll get a real indicatino of their philosophy (playmakers vs. 'safe' picks etc).
