You know I disagree with that as well. LJ constantly got tripped up for negative yardage. He was not reliable for any kind of yards...even short ones.

The biggest myth I have ever read about Larry Johnson was that he's a short yardage back...

Because he wasn't.

Never was.

Priest Holmes was 100 TIMES the short yardage back compared to LJ.

LJ was amazing toward the last. He couldn't even get his 2.7 ypc in short yardage
