ChiefsPlanet Posting Political/Religious Threads in the Main Forum

Is there a reason people can't just ignore the threads they don't like? I don't click on the majority of threads that are posted in the lounge, and open the ones I am interested in. Seems to work well.

I see your join date is August of 2005. This means you weren't here in the fall of 2004 when 2/3rds of the front page was political threads, constantly, right in the middle of football season. That's the reason the DC forum was created in the first place.

These people must be contained. It's as simple as that.

Has there been some huge influx of political/religious threads recently that caused you to start this thread? Maybe I've just missed them, since, like I said I ignore threads I don't want to open. I typically never see more than one thread at a time on the front page of the lounge that I would imagine is a political or religious thread though.

Yes, there has been. Perhaps one of the mods could site examples. Once a thread gets moved to DC from the main forum, there's no way that I know of to search for it.

I understand the concern, it was a great move. If it happens over and over,OK. But now and then when it's a simple mistake, no. It's how I feel, nobody here is perfect .

The fact that you admit posting a political thread in the main forum is a "mistake" probably means that I'm not talking about you, doesn't it?
