I think it's Kindle. I don't think Cody fits the 'right 53'. I think they're thinking about one other NT's that will be there later in the 2nd or 3rd.

However, if Weis LOVES Clausen, and just couldn't convince them to take him at 5, it'd be hard to tell him no in the 2nd.

There's more to the Clausen backstory than meets the eye. The NFL is a tight, little club. Weis or no Weis ... I don't know what it is, but there's a word out on Clausen. That's my theory, anyhow.

Totally agree and it always has been this way. I mean how the hell did guys like Schaub and Whitehurst jump from no-name back up QB's to making millions of $$ as starters unless their is 'respected talk behind the scenes'

The question really becomes did Weis take the Chiefs O coord pos with "certain requirements" to be met?(ala the draft-i.e. Clausen)
