Sorry, but Cincinnatti wasn't going to win.... and everyone with one or more brain cells knew it.

Besides which, it doesn't matter. DOGS don't show up for practice. "Best players" do. DOGS who don't show up for practice don't play. That has nothing to do with McDaniels. It's a given.

Actually, what it sounds like is someone making excuses for having a playoff spot all but locked up halfway through the season and then going down like the Hindenberg.

What? Just like the 2006 Chiefs didn't need 3 teams all to lose (including the loser Donkeys) and the Chiefs to win to make the playoffs. Anything can happen on any given Sunday.

I just don't believe that personally. And I think the Broncos as a team have a culture of reading the damned papers and believing them; it's worked against them many times.

I don't know how you can't believe that it happens almost every week in the NFL.

In order for them to go to the playoffs they had to win first. So basically you are telling me they quit.

Yep - make it sound worse than it was. He was late for a meeting with McDumbass because he was at an appointment with his PT rather than the teams. McDumbass got his panties in a wad like the little bitch he is.

Marshall grabbed his right hamstring and took a seat during Wednesday's practice and hasn't taken the field since.

Marshall said he's injured and charges that McDaniels doesn't know what it's like to play in the NFL. He hinted that he might be getting called out by his coach because the Broncos' season is unraveling. Since a sizzling 6-0 start, the Broncos have gone 2-7.

Marshall said an MRI showed no structural damage to his right hamstring, "but when you try to explode and take off, if you don't have it, you don't have it."

He said he respected his coach's decision, but couldn't play effectively with his tweaked hamstring. He also couldn't believe McDaniels was questioning his toughness.
