Sure, one of these guys might not pan out, but to me it looks like we added a lot of speed and players that will help out this team next year.

Great, we'll have a lot of speed on the bench.

Baltimore took both 2nd rounders that we should have taken.

McCluster was a very good pick.

Arenas brings some things we need to the table, particularly as a returner, but we reached for where he should've went.

36. Dexter McCluster, RB/WR/KR, Ole Miss
Dexter McCluster is a luxury pick. If some team with few needs wanted to take him in Round 2, that would have been fine. The Chiefs don't have that luxury because of all of their primary needs. (Pick Grade: C)

50. Javier Arenas, CB/KR, Alabama
The Chiefs just drafted a nickel corner and kick returner when they still have issues with quarterback protection and pass rush. Not a good weekend to be a Chiefs fan. (Pick Grade: C)

I agree with their assessment on Arenas but Mccluster is going to be fun to watch.

I don't know what the hell they were thinking drafting Arenas. He is a good player but not what we need for sure.

All I know is that KC got a lot quicker and it looks like the secondary possibly could become a strength on this team. Remember, we already have Brandon Flowers and with Eric Berry coming in along with Carr, Arenas, Washington, who knows what could happen

I feel sorry for Eric Berry. He deserved, and earned, the chance to play for a quality team, and not a joke like KC.

These two picks are horrible. I guess Weis doesn't give 2 big pinched loaves about his ex-players, and I guess Pioli doesn't believe in drafting potential full time starters.

I hope we go 0-8 and Clark fires everyone midseason.

That's awesome that he can run past guys who are going to be bagging groceries. I've seen Danario Alexander do that multiple times, too. It doesn't mean he has breakaway speed.

There are only so many DB's we can get on the field at one time. The Arenas and the Washington pick last year were not necessary. Don't forget we still have Leggett as well.

I find it funny that we get rid of Herm and we are drafting more DB's under Haley than the DB himself Herm ( Can be referred to as Defensive back or Douchebag whichever you prefer )

He was playing in the SEC. He was playing against more football players than grocery baggers but whatever there is no need to argue on this as I agree that it was a waste of a pick.

When Chiefnj is reacting this way, you know the picks are bad.
