Football Clady injured his patellar tendon - Page 2

Two NFL sources tell the Denver Post that Broncos LT Ryan Clady has injured his patellar tendon in a non-football-related incident.

A patellar tendon tear in late April would certainly jeopardize Clady's availability for the start of the season, though the severity is unknown at this time. Denver's top backup at left tackle is presumably usual starting right tackle Ryan Clady, who is also less than 100 percent due to toe surgery. The Broncos did draft Utah left tackle Zane Beadles in the second round over the weekend, though his best NFL position is at guard or right tackle.

The good news is Clady is only 23 years old and Denver has some of the best physical therapy people in the NFL. He should be ready to start the season.

Patellar tendons can be damaging injuries.
If its bad, he could miss quite a few games. Rush him back, he could do more damage that can cause long term affects.

The same guys who said Marshalls hip injury was minor and at the end of the season it turned out that it was a career threatening injury that needed surgery? Those guys?

Clady is only 23 years old. He will heal extremely fast if it does turn out to be serious.

Marshall had a reputation in Denver for exaggerating injuries. Marshall is the only person that has happened to.
