Speaking of pain and weakness. I went up to working sets of snatch, press, swings with a 28kg kettlebell. Holy mother, I'm worked. I'd been doing my first low rep set with a 28, but today I did my second set with it as well, which has more reps in it. Just that difference kicked my ass.
I've been sitting here relaxing while the kids play, and I just got up to start getting them ready for bath and realized that my body is freaking wrecked.

So, I consumed 1000 calories yesterday. Considering I fasted yesterday, that's disgusting. However I ate some frozen yogurt last night and that's what pushed it so high. That and the very necessary protein shake I drank after lifting yesterday morning. Whatever though.
1300 calories today. Provided I don't eat for the rest of the night, that is full of win. 1300 calories today consisted of half of a Starbuck's skinny latte, 2 Jack in the Box tacos, and tonight I bbq'd some ribs and made some mashed potatoes. |

Before both workouts I jogged for 20 minutes at a 5mph(12 minute mile) pace. Should I do arms again tomorrow or should I just do cardio and then repeat the cycle. Me personally, I do a full body workout 3 days a week. I'm a brand n00b weight lifter though, so that's what I was told made the most sense.
Other than that, I run a 12 minute mile pace myself and push out at least 3 days a week consisting of 1 long run (gets higher every week, this week is 6 miles) and then 2 three mile runs. I'm trying to push that total to 5 days a week, but only because I LOVE running. It helps that I burn more calories far and away vs. any other form of cardio. Sorry I couldn't help with some advice, I just don't know much about it. |
