Heard about this on the radio a few minutes ago. Apparently the video has gone viral and the rest of us are feeling a little better about our imperfect parenting skills.

Meh. That "lingerie" wouldn't even pass as a bikini swim suit these days unless it were worn by a grandma. In fact, it's more like the style of bikini typically worn in the 50's and 60's.

Just thought I'd chime in here. When my daughters were 10 years old...they were playing football. Tackle football. In pads. OT, OG, DE and LB. They kicked ass, by the way. Never left the house looking like sluts either.

I won't even let my daughter wear a bikini! Nor will she until she is over 18!! Lucky for me she is a football tackling dummy and loves every second of it, however, she is only three...lol

Okay, took some time, but watched the vid....gotta agree with some, don't see a real problem with it. I think they are practicing for possibly something they will be applauded for doing in school. I know if this was a video of high school girls doing the same thing (maybe a bit more polished) they would be applauded for their work, this is where they start. My ex-stepdaughter was a gymnast, and had to wear outfits that showed more leg (though not the midriff that apparently is a hotbutton for a lot of people) from age 6 or 7. Is it bait for pervs? Yes it is, but any summer day at the pool is just as good for them.

I'm not one to judge others, or at least I try not to be. Any of you who think that's ok for your elementary school age daughter should go ahead and let them do it, it's your business. But can anyone explain why they have to dress the girls like that? Can't they dance just as well without trying to make them look like they're 10 years older than they are? What is the purpose?

10 years older and they're wearing stuff that's quite a bit skimpier, if they can pull it off.
