I said it before and I will say it again, even before that goal, USA earned their spot with at least 2 goals called back for no reason. Now this does have the off chance of a problem for me. If the USA and Mexico both win (off chance with Mexico facing Argentina) I believe I would be watching USA v Mexico as an American living in Mexico.

Edit, was wrong, no chance of the two facing off til the finals which I doubt will happen.

Ok, so how does rate on the scale of great moments and wins in the history of your watching sports. This has to be one of the top three for me but I can't think of what the other two would be. I know Mario Chalmers was one. David Tyree's catch is up there for me as well.

But this one has worldwide implications so it might just be tops.

The star forward is sent home after berating and cursing the head coach.
Team refuses to practice in protest of player getting sent home.
The trainer gets pissed off and quits the team.
Another spokesmen for the team quites.
Playing against South Africa, they get a red card in the first 15 minutes and end up loosing 2-1 to South Africa.
France goes 0-2-1 in 2010 World cup.
