No I am not but what I was comparing are their body types and style of play. Very close IMO.

Both are top end speed gamebreaker type backs with excellent lateral movement.

Both have almost the same body types with Bush already showing he couldn't handle the beating by missing a fair amount of starts just going into his 4th yr. Charles still remains to be seen but Pioli isn't taking any chances which I would have done the same by picking up a decent veteran RB to relieve some of the load.

Both have good hands and can play slot or any WR pos for that matter at anytime when not in the RB pos.

Both have fumbling issues.

My question is...what exactly was the injury? Is it a big concern for the upcoming season?

You read the article saying he injured his shoulder and had it surgically repaired correct?

Lets please not confuse this.

Jamaal had a shoulder injury the entire 2009 season and still played extremely well with it.

He won't miss any time at all, and his surgery was just something that needed to be done so that it would quit nagging him. It is no concern at all.

I know. The question just seemed odd considering the article touched on the injury. However, I'm sure it could of meant how serious was the injury, etc. which I think you've now answered.
