Life Cigarette butts and the beach. - Page 2

So I'm at Virginia Beach this week and can't help being disgusted and amazed at the shear number of Cigarette butts on the beach. Why are smokers to lazy to take care of their trash? I mean it's not only the beach, it's out the car window, in my yard, or on every single side walk in America. If your going to smoke, how hard is it to take care of your cigarette butts.

Cigarette butts are actually where all of the tar balls on the beach came from.

Maybe if I could smoke in the bar where there is an ashtray instead of being forced outside with no ashtray available this wouldn't be such an issue!

Actually, I am very aware of my butts and it drives me nuts to see where people have put out their butt on the ground within a couple of feet of an ashtray.

I got a letter of reprimand in the air force for refusing to pick up people cigarette butts....

I wouldnt do it and they said I was failing to follow orders. I told them to cram it up their cram hole. I wasnt going to do it.

The squadraon commander agreed with me, but the LOR stuck for disrespecting a POS MSGT.

I was driving behind a guy near Colorado Springs today who flicked one out his car window into the field beyond the shoulder. I wonder if he's ever heard of the damage wildfires do to mountain forests.
