Hmmm.I don't have Direct tv,but I also haven't had a "land line" in almost 10 years either.

From what a few others have posted, you can get around that, but ordering PPV seems to be the foot that kicks one in the nads without a land line. I need to figure out a way to ditch it, because it's useless.
