Yeah, it was Todd McFarlane's statues. And no, I didn't get one for OTW58. I wasn't aware that he was looking for one. Then again, I'm not sure why anybody for that matter, want one anyways.

But it's just funny, that depending on one's view, is the way he's constructed. Most others that I noticed were standing up, or attempting a pass, not like "Oh shit, phantom pressure! I gotta bail?"

My issue is the how people at 1 Arrowhead Drive don't see the big picture on Cassel?

And for whatever it's worth, I don't think it is slinging shit or pushing buttons. I call how I see it, and if people doesn't like it, then that's their problem. They need to grow some thick skin or move on.

It isnt about thick skin, its about shit we already know. EVERYONE knows Cassel isnt it. Its about how many times or ways we need to know that. We dont need to know that 1+1=2. and we dont need to know why 1+1= 2 yet its apparent that people need to tell us why it does.

Tell me why, Weiss not needing the money an OC gets, wouldnt down right require the Chiefs to draft Claussen when he was there in the second. Its a guy he recruited and saw for 3 yrs. Think about it...... Weiss takes a job he doesnt need and has a clear chance to draft a QB that he knows better than anyone on this board. ....... and doesnt take him.

Yes, it is about stuff that we already know, but the problem here is that some members who are, let's simply put them in the "Cassel supporters" category, if you will. Apparently they are the ones that are refusing to believe that 1+1=2 formula, or simply put that they are not understanding why 1+1=2. So in order for them to understand why Cassel is not a foundation you'd want to build around, they need to be shown his fundamental flaws have not, up to this point, been corrected, and I highly doubt it will be corrected anytime soon.

And no, I wasnt, nor any other CP members were in the warroom with the Chiefs on the year that Stafford was drafted. But that argument of Stafford is pretty much irrevelent, since it was obvious that he was going to Detroit, and the Chiefs had no chance of getting him anyways. They did, however, had a chance to get Sanchez, but they blew it by picking Jackson, who, as of this point, also have not shown me any progress either, but that's another day for a discussion.

But that 2009 NFL Draft the Chiefs had, outside of Succop, have not shown us anything. I'd say that I would have gone a different direction than what they had in mind, without a doubt, if I was in charge.

And as far as Weis is concerned, there are probably multiple reasons. Again, I am speculating, but one is, maybe that in ND, he knew what his limitations were as a QB, that he could get away in the college level, but not in the NFL. Another is, maybe he did want to draft him, but may have been overruled by a higher authority. It's not uncommon at times, to be overruled by a higher authority. See Carl Peterson/Vermeil LJ incident in question.

Although, the LJ incident was a first rounder, not a second rounder, it's probably Pioli's way of saying "We're not drafting a QB, come hell or high water."

Or maybe Weis is being prideful, thinking he can shape Cassel to be a decent QB, like what Gunther said about shaping Robinson's players, and we all knew how that turned out.

In all, as much shit as Tyler Thigpen gets around here, and some of them are valid, at least he MADE the game interesting, unlike Matt Cassel.

I'm not slinging any shit. It's 20 years of Carl Petersoness. It's wanting to draft a QB ever since Joe Montana failed to deliver a Super Bowl. It's seeing the same back up QB from Patriots that we had in Huard that turned into a pile of crap. I don't see any thing special about Cassel, so yes I am going to complain. It has nothing to do with you or any other Cassel supporter. I want to see him do something that would warrent a 2nd round pick & 60 Mill contract. I know he is our QB this year and I would love for him to go out on Monday night against the Chargers and throw 375yds 5 TDs that would be awsome, then he would be the man. Untill the next week that is if he tanks.

You make it sound so black and white....when there is a big grey area.

You make it seem as simple as 1+1 that Cassel is a failure when he has had only one season and really not even a full season. I agree there are Cassel ball washers who would support him NO MATTER WHAT.

But there are also the opposite kinds of people...People that give up WAY TOO EARLY. People that are WAY TOO negative without giving Cassel at least 8 more games or this season to have a real chance....

So yes there are supporters (ball washers) and yes there are the bashers/haters...But there are also a big group in the middle who would like to at least give the man a CHANCE. Last year was NOT a chance....

If someone is unwilling to give a GM / QB more than one season to turn things from the WORST in history to a good team...Then Personally you are just as bad as any of the ball washers IMO.
