Some really good performances yesterday.

Denard Robinson was a stallion. 197 yards rushing with a TD, 186 passing yards with a TD. It's one home game against Connecticut, but I think Michigan will exceed most expectations. I'm not really looking forward to playing them on the road this year.

It will be interesting to see their game against ND next week. Don't know much about Purdue, but typically they can score points. For ND to hold them to 12 was fairly impressive, especially with an offensive-minded coach like Brian Kelly.

TCU cleared a major hurdle towards being a BCS spoiler yesterday by beating Oregon State. Looking at their schedule, the only obstacle I see is at Utah November 6th.

A quick Hawkeye homer note. I feel a lot more confident in our offensive capability after yesterday. The main reason is because I'm now convinced that James Vandenberg is a big time QB and is ready for the inevitable moment when Stanzi's legs snap off. We'll see.

I'm rooting for Navy. Does anyone know what happened why the Coach was yelling at the ref earlier? I saw the replay but I've been watching the game on mute, so I can't tell.

Here we go. Navy going for a TD, down 17-14 on 4th and goal from the 1 with 37 seconds left.

Ballsy choice.

Wow they didn't get it.

Now they have to hope for a safety and a quick trip back to Maryland's side of the field.
