Heh. Predictable. I'd rather TRich just ride off into the sunset. I think if the Chiefs signed him we'd all be disappointed.

The running game is the least of this team's problems. Let the young guys develop. We start signing guys from the Vermeil era we might as well bring back Trent Green and Eddie Kennison as well. I just think TRich's better days are behind him. All this love for him on this thread is fine but doesn't mean he'll be a strong contributor in 2010.

You know, Im a little shy and embarrassed to say this, but I love your post lol

When I see that word love, 2 times automatically I get so in tuned with reading your post. Amazing what one word could do.

Sign him to a two year deal, draft a rookie in next years draft, ten let him learn from one of the best for a year before Tony retires.

Actually, T-Rich began to make a name for himself in the Marty era. He was exclusively Marcus Allen's blocking back on short yardage and goal line situations. He is almost as old as me but, at this point, prolly better than what we have on the roster and a hell of a mentor. I would love to see him as a Chief again, I think he could help out.

That being said, I am not sure dumping someone else at this point during their development would help the Chiefs in the long run..

LOL! I agree. they got rid of faneca (in an uncapped year) and his replacements have almost gotten Sanchez killed in the pre - season. Faneca was very popular with the younger offensive lineman and helped with the chemistry on the line although he did stink at pass protection (but not as bad as his replacements have been)

T-Rich was actually helping the Terminator during TC, and was coaching him. everybody has to remember that the Jets were one game (the one that Manning sat in the 2nd half) from doing nothing last year and finishing at 8-8. that is reality. all this talk that they're a great team ROTFLMFAO! I'll believe it when I see it.

I understand that. But the people on this thread are likely pining for the days of Vermeil's offense putting up 40 ppg.

Yeah.

I don't think so.

We wouldn't be a high flying offense, but we'd be an offense that can move the chians on third and short with T-Rich leading T Jones into the hole.

If Shields, Roaf, and Priest would come back I'd be on board with a reunion.
