Let's give Gill a pass on this year, though. Next year should be easier when they play Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas Tech.

If Gill doesn't pull out a season that shows decent improvement along the way it could be a big problem for him.

A new AD will be taking over next year and usually when that happens they like to bring in their own football coach.

I already get the sense from many KU fans that they didn't like the hire from the beginning and they could easy abandon the guy. Even some KU fans on this board and the KU boards are already saying it.
