In that case, the Chiefs are the best team in the NFL by virtue of their perfect 3-0 record.

The rest of the loser teams in the NFL can look up at us and kiss our ass. When you walk around town in Chiefs gear this week, and you see someone else wearing Chiefs, or football gear, give them the finger. Because we're #1. Normally, it wouldn't mean shit. It's cliche garbage that every drooling fan in the land practices.

Not this week.

Haha, yeah, it's looking like a crazy year. I was just trying to find the last unbeaten to not make the playoffs. Haven't figured it out yet. 97-99 it was Broncos/Broncos/Rams... all won the Super Bowl.

1996 was rough. Colts were the last unbeaten at 4-0. Finished 9-7 and did sneak into the playoffs, got blasted in the first round by the Steelers.

Every one of them at least had a first round bye in the playoffs EXCEPT the 2006 Colts. Which is ironic because they're the only team on that list to win a Super Bowl.
where did you find these stats anyway? I would like to see how far back they tracked that.

Combination of pro football reference, my memory, and google. I knew all the Colts ones, and the Titans and Patriots, obviously. I found an article somewhere that listed the other ones.
