It accomplishes alot imo, That the fans dont want to see his ****ing inept ass playing quarterback. I loved what the niners fans were doing, If you didnt, then thats good for you.

I just know after that, smith got his shit together and was throwing bullets with accuracy of Peyton Manning. It did something, they came up short, but at least there offense got them back into the game.

I don't think there is a single bit of correlation between the events in your two separate paragraphs though. IMO, Smith getting his shit together had everything to do with Singletary riding his ass like a cheap mule, and Vernon Davis taking him aside and giving him some encouragement. And it had nothing to do with what the crowd was doing.
