Just watched the premiere yesterday myself...needless to say I was drawn into it from the get go. Loved every minute of the premiere. I didn't notice any bad accents really either. Acually the black guy in the premiere is an english actor too, but he's quite good at the southern accent he portrays in the series. I'd actually go a bit further than what you said though, and say that there's several scenes in the first episode that were awesome...not just the end scene. That was a damn good scene though. I know what you mean.

Enjoy man...can't really see any reason why you or any fans of the genre in general for that matter, not to like it....I'm pumped for this series. something like this for tv is long overdue in my opinion. I can't really remember a television series like it. Seems more like a movie really.

I just watched it as well. I don't have cable so I'd have to wait a day after Halloween to check it out. It looks like the makings of another great AMC series. Lots of cool scenes and well acted. Can't wait to see episode 2.

Watched the premier as well and liked it quiet a bit but I've always been a big fan of the zombie genre. I was really surprised by how gory it was for an AMC show. That shit would have gotten an "R" rating in the movie theater.

Yea that's kind of what I thought was cool about it too....how much gore there was. I couldn't believe they were able to put that much gore on a tv network not called HBO, Showtime, or Starz (spartacus was pretty damn bloody too). Then again in order to do a zombie show properly in order for it to succeed there's got to be lots of gore and violent scenes. I think AMC realized this and decided to really push the envelope or it would have been a flop on their part. It's gonna be a hit. This much is certain.

Okay, now I'm getting excited to see this show. I'm a huge fan of the comic book series. I've been following it for so long that it's been awhile since I've read those first issues. It will be nice to see that beginning again. Although the beginning seemed a bit typical, it was happened as it progressed that made it a special story, IMO.
