Help me understand this hypocricy...

I'm not saying we are a premier team, but I'm looking for consistency.

Quote:
12. Kansas City (5-2). On the one hand, it's good to overcome an off day and play good enough to come out with a win. Yet to need 74 minutes, at home, to beat the Buffalo Bills ... that shows the Chiefs aren't in the Premiership yet.

I get we struggled with Buff, but King's 3rd place team gave up over 30 to that same Bills team just a week ago. The Bills needed roughly 65 minutes to beat the Bills, at home, so I'm failing to see why he hasn't docked the Ravens as well.

For reference, this is from Week 7:

Quote:
5. Baltimore (5-2). Head coach John Harbaugh is right. He found some fault with just about everything the Ravens did Sunday against outmanned Buffalo. But in January, when the Ravens host a playoff game, all anyone will remember from the ugly Week 7 conquest of Buffalo (and I use the word "conquest" very loosely) is the W.

It is what it is.

Do you really think anybody looks at their schedule and thinks "Oh shit! The Chiefs!"
And after yesterday's performance, frankly 12 may be too high.
You can bet they don't want to face this running game and 91 coming off the edge raping thier O-line on every pass play.

Baltimore is a Super Bowl caliber team. The Chiefs wouldn't even be in the playoff discussion if they played in the AFC North, AFC East, or AFC South.

And the Donks might actually have a winning record if you moved them to the CFL.

Exactly, and if we had beat Houston or Indy he'd not be giving us shit about almost losing to the Bills.

Yes, because all of our wins so far are the product of the weak division we play in.

Not saying we aren't lower tier of the teams likely to make the play-offs, but so far it has little to do with how weak this division is.

Peter King has been drinking the Chief's koolaid since Pioli and Haley arrived last year. Hell, he even picked us to go 10-6 last year .

King is a Chief's believer, which isn't good karma if you ask me.

You are right, our schedule has been really weak. Until we start beating the big boys, we should keep expecting this on a weekly basis.
