Most wrestlers I know are used to the cliche. "Gee, haven't heard that before" they say. It's not gay. I didn't wrestle, because my dad didn't wrestle, and that's basically how you get into it. But I have a lot of respect for the discipline good, committed wrestlers have to show. Cutting weight, waking up at early hours to work out, the intense individual effort of the sport is demanding.

Sparta was intense, too. They were fighters, warriors, with an extremely disciplined lifestyle. And the Spartan men also had a lot of sex with their boyfriends. Now that's gay.
