Ngata is an absolute beast! He regularly draws double teams and handles them. Since I have not seen a Chiefs game this year I can't say how he actually matches up. Depending on if they want to dress a dime back or have Dline support Cody could see a number of snaps. Hes a mountain but inexperienced, so is easy to victimize. But, the real key to getting through the D-line is Kelly Gregg, he has not been the same since microfracture surgery on his knee. Redding is just a warm body.

"Pass rush" is a strong term for what we have..its been dog shit all season. Sergio Kindle our second rounder cracked his friggin bean and he was being projected into the spot opposite Suggs...man that killed us. Suggs is the only bonified threat to get to Cassell.

I'll say this about what scares me...Ravens safeties. Whether its run support or coverage they are absolutely terrible! I'm talking Reed to. Reed has a neck problem and won't tackle anybody, while Landry is just challenged. I think he wears a plastic helmet off the field. The guy is constantly in the wrong position, and doesn't wrap up when he tackles. But your running game does give me nervous.

I voted the Ravens only because of today's debacle, and Baltimore having more (and more recent) postseason experience. But I sincerely hope today was a wake-up call and I'm wrong, and the Chiefs wipe the floor with the Ravens, because I despise Baltimore, and I think a KC/NE matchup in week two of the playoffs would be fascinating for both the media and the fandom.

I dont know if we will win, I think we can win, I voted we will win, and after today its understandable to be skeptical. However, a heart of a champion is not exposed during the good times, but how they respond during times of adversity. Think Rocky...

Earlier in the season I would say we'd have a good shot. But lately the ravens D has really solidified. I'd be willing to bet they shut down the run game. The question is, do you believe that cassel could win the game own his own, without a running game? Let's assume he has decent protection(not the abortion that was today). But even then, if cassel has to win it own his own I don't think he can do it. He's played well in the 2nd half of the season but I'm not convinced he can win it own his own.

Success in this game depends upon the running game, it has to fire on all cylinders if it does then we can win it, if it doesn't then it seems highly doubtful to me.

I am not going to piss away this week...a week I can enjoy what I've been waiting for for a very long time...by being a negative Nelly. I believe in this team. I really do.

I think Tamba Hali is going to resurrect the spirit of the great Derrick Thomas.

I think Matt Cassel will rebound. He has guts. Well, slightly less than before, but he's tough and he's ready.

Ultimately, I think we hold them off in the fourth quarter after a quick start.

I am going to hunt down and utterly destroy every single person who voted against the Chiefs on this poll.

Except teedubya. He was the last one of that group who gave me rep, so I'll only partially destroy him.
