The one thing I see to their advantage is the ability to POSSIBLY get to Cassel without blitzing as much. That would make for less 1 on 1 in the secondary and it's the reason I wanted the Jets. But that's not even for sure. Plus Baltimore is clearly beat up with multiple pro bowlers missing practices entirely and an injury list about 12 names long.

I said the defense isn't all that much better than some of the defenses we played, meaning that it's not a great defense (because I don't think there's a great D in the NFL this year at all) that's going to setup the Chiefs to fail on both sides of the ball by taking the offense off the field right away. The Bills and Broncos just happened to be the teams KC's offense struggled against at home. I didn't compare the Ravens defense to the Bills and Broncos, I'm not a complete moron.

My post was mainly focused on how awesome KC's defense has played at Arrowhead this year. They're matched up with Baltimore's offense, which is nothing special. That's the key. Although Baltimore's defense could potentially take control of the game (as could any of the other 30 defenses on any given sunday), I just don't see it happening.

But look at that rundown I gave you of the defense in the home games. Then look at our overall defensive stats. It's clearly a pretty damn big difference at home. Most of what you hear from analysts and even people on this board is gonna be based on the Chiefs overall, not just at home. And I think it's 2 separate situations (road and home), and I really think it's gonna be the deciding factor in this game. Which means the weekend after, if KC happens to be alive, I'm going to be playing my any given Sunday card. And I have the right to do that.
i see what your saying and the chiefs D could very well stop the ravens O. but the ravens are night and day between halves on offense. they move the ball very well in the first half and then sit on it in the second half. you think its rediculous that i think the ravens are going to get a decent sized lead and then hope to hold on at the end, but i've seen them do it like 7 times this year.

How many of those times were against a team that was 10-5 overall and 7-0 at home after their 15 games that mattered were over? And in the other teams house?

Good point, regarding first half lead. The Chiefs get a lot of work done in the first half at home. Chiefs win by 10, thanks to an extra FG in the 4th quarter.
