I miss the gold-old days of Boston sucking shit in most major sports, or being just good enough to rip fans' ****ing hearts out, which I'll term "KC style," since that's how we roll here.

I'm thinking back over the last 13 years (my tenure in town) and I can't think of a single team that's been good enough to rip anybody's heart out. Royals, Chiefs, it's all been a steady drone of suck.

I think the Chiefs will be there next year, though.

'95 and '97 Chiefs.

Grunhard tells the story that many on the '95 team were literally making SB preparations. In '97, a lot of analysts said that the two best teams in the NFL (us and the cheating ****ing Donks) met in the divisional round.
