Shawnee Mission West Teacher accused of "Inappropriate relations" with student
Overland Park Police and the Shawnee Mission School District are investigating an allegation of inappropriate relations between a teacher and a student.

The district said the alleged misconduct at Shawnee Mission West High School was brought to the attention of school officials today.

The teacher, who was not identified, has been placed on administrative leave.



The Teacher was sexting the students - the images got passed around and ended up on the wonderful internet....

I just can't believe that teachers do this and think they'll get away with it. Why on earth would you trust a 15-18 year old boy to keep his mouth shut?

Basically it's sex VS. losing your teaching license, never being able to teach anywhere again, the embarrassment of being caught, etc. That's without even getting into the possible legal ramifications.

I believe that it was an accident. My assumption is that upon finding herself in a car, she started pleasuring the stick shift, forgetting that she was in fact supposed to be piloting the vehicle. Typical Pavlovian response.

We definitely had some hot teachers in high school. I wonder if any of them put out to students. Man, that's probably like the #1 sexual fantasy for 98% of HS-aged males.

Feel sorry for her, I hope she survives the accident and gets some help to get over this episode.
