Prayer Request Shawnee Mission West Teacher accused of "Inappropriate relations" with student - Page 49

Overland Park Police and the Shawnee Mission School District are investigating an allegation of inappropriate relations between a teacher and a student.

The district said the alleged misconduct at Shawnee Mission West High School was brought to the attention of school officials today.

The teacher, who was not identified, has been placed on administrative leave.

The Teacher was sexting the students - the images got passed around and ended up on the wonderful internet....

I don't see how a person like that has any societal value. I'm not of the opinion that she deserves the death penalty for her actions, but I am of the opinion that the world is ultimately a better place without her.

Man..... A lot of people casting stones in here. I wasn't aware that the population of CP was so virtuous. People make mistakes. They deserve to face consequences for those mistakes. In my opinion, the shame would be plenty enough consequence for this girl. Add on any criminal charges and I think she's paid her debt. Maybe it's irresponsible of me, but I don't equate her actions with someone touching an 8 year old.

Limited in what way? I guess I could add the disclaimer of "if this is all true", but I assumed that much would be obvious. If it's a photoshop, then the person that did this will have hell to pay, but that's looking less likely with the additional picture that surfaced.

What other info are you considering that I should take into account?

This wasn't a mistake the women is likely a nympho. Still she shouldn't be punished for it.

No, it's definitely nowhere near outright pedophilia. I agree.

And shame would be a significant consequence for sure. But she chose to run her truck off a cliff and leave all her victims to deal with all that unpleasant stuff.

There seems to be a lot of people that interpret my comments as " she should die". That's not what I said, nor what I meant.

That's your opinion. Should the teacher face some sort of punishment? Yes. Don't you think she's suffered enough after injuring herself in a car crash and having this info released?
