In the process, he was putting the second woman on that side in position to get crushed and banged. That's not the one I'm talking about, though. I'm talking about the one he ended up slugging. She should either have been removed earlier, or the cop should have waited until another officer was in position.

Exactly. This is the point I was trying to make. They handled the situation poorly.
