Funny thing this morning. Turned on ESPN, and saw the 'lead' stories on the bottom line. They were (of course) the NFL, the Yankees beating the Mariners for their 14th straight loss, the Texans scoring 20 on the Twinkies and the Indians beating the Angels in the bottom of the 9th on Kipnis' first hit.

So I knew, without a doubt, at that moment that the Royals had won. Because when I went to bed it was the 12th inning. And there's no way in hell that the BoSox winning a 12+ inning game would not have been one of the four lead stories...
