I highly doubt any school in the country makes MU's football facilities 'look like a grade school' - though I'm not going to flip my shit over a bit of hyperbole.

Arkansas may well have better facilities than MU, but MUs are no worse than above average. They're not going to be completely outclassed by moving south.

The problem for me would be that we're an absolutely miserable climate compared to the SEC. I mean if some recruit is bopping along in February and he goes to to Tallahassee than hauls his ass up to the cold and gray of Columbia, it's not going to be lost on him.

But what would they know?
Your facilities were so great all it took was giving Tevin Mitchells mom a job at the school to lure him away from Nebraska.

I admit I overstated it. Mizzou is in the middle compared to the rest of the Big 12.

I agree with the recruit part. Warm weather does matter, but it could also be one hell of an advantage. The SEC players rarely play in freezing weather, and Columbia has more then it's fair share. That is a significant advantage.

My facilities? Spartan School of Aeronautics doesn't have a football program, in fact they don't have any extra programs. .

If you are referring to the team I cheer for, KSU doesn't compare to any of the schools being discussed in this thread.

Hey, if Missouri joins the SEC, does that mean we automatically get free ballwashings from DaKC?

I think the Big Six Bits Conference (3/4 of the Big XII) is going to stand firm. If they have assurances that the amount promised per school won't go down as a 9 member league, the incentive to leave isn't great for Mizzou. They compete better in the Big Six Bits, they get paid roughly the same and they don't have to be looked at as "the add on" in a conference that barely likes to acknowledge Arkansas if it doesn't have to.

I'm breathing easier as KU fan with the Trammel speculation if Mizzou does bolt. Last time around, Scott was very excited about the basketball package he could negotiate if Kansas was included. Didn't think Tech would get squeezed out for us, but there apparently is more value in KU as a foursome with OU-OSU-Texas. Still think a Texas-OU-KU-MU package to the PAC is a homerun, but if our possibilities are the PAC or the devil we know, I'm happy with that.

I wonder if the SEC and the Big XII would be up for a strait up trade? A&M for Arkansas, no penalties for either?

No, he'll just consistently remind you that there is only one truly dominant program in the SEC; and that your team is not that program.

Pretty sure ku and KSU are in this together. At least that's what the Kansas BOR said last year when all this was going on.

Actually they didn't. They said their preference was that they remained together but they would not block a move to split.

That's absolutely true. If KU and MU split, in all likelihood KC is cooked for post season tournaments. I imagine they would try to continue the Border War at Arrowhead and KU-MU would become a Holiday Tournament of some sort, but not much more.

I thought this was interesting. I think Delaney can be a d*ck sometimes. I'd gladly take Oklahoma.

I hear Oklahoma, OK State and 2 other B12 schools approached Big Ten as package and were told no. Academic reasons.
