Tamba Hali is criminally underrated

Best pass rusher in the league right now, and it isn't really close. The guy gets to the QB on every. Single. Play. He's an unstoppable, unblockable, no quit, high motor player and he puts Jared Allen to shame. I would submit he's the best pass rusher this team has seen since Derrick Thomas. I hope we get a QB and some other pieces in place soon so we don't waste his incredible talent. BEAST. I love watching him play. Easily the biggest bright spot of this season. Hats off to him.

I honestly don't know.
Now this I don't believe. I believe Dorsey would be a MUCH better player if he was used properly in a 4-3.

Regardless of how he was improperly used in the 4-3 by Herm, the switch helped him.

If the Chiefs ever win on a consistent basis, Hali will get the credit her deserves.

Tamba is one of my favorite Chiefs but I'd take Ware over him in a heartbeat. That's no knock on Tamba but Ware is a freak of nature and a future HOF. When our secondary was complete crap you'd see Tamba just miss getting sacks. Now that our secondary can cover longer Tamba is sack totals are going through the roof. The Cowgirls secondary is horrible but Ware is still a beast and gets his sacks regardless.

Is Ware held as often as Hali?

I would have to reserve judgment unless this factor can be taken into account. I have a feeling that Ware (being a Cowgirl and all) likely gets that call whereas Hali (being a Chief and all) likely will not.

Bob Dole was watching both games with one of his Cowboy-lovin' buddies yesterday. After about the 5th no-call, he told Bob Dole to stop being a homer. Bob Dole told him to watch nothing but 91 and see for himself. He was amazed.

Ware has long arms and is able to push off blocks from what I've seen. I'm the last guy to give any cowgirl players any credit but in Wares case it's warranted.

Hali has 4 more QB hits than Ware, and I would guess he has more pressures/hurries too, though I can't seem to find that stat anywhere. Tamba Hali also has 17 tackles and 8 assists. Ware has 10 tackles and 2 assists.
