Cassel left Arrowhead with a cast on his hand.

Has this been reported? Didn't see it. Just heard it on the SNF postgame.

Can't wait to see the meltodown here at halftime if Palko starts. If we are going to do it, go all the way and start Stanzi. I want to tank in epic proportions.

It's not looking that bad. He's playing better than curry and okung, and Sanchez is playing ok, but he's not franchise. I wanted Raji and he's easily the best option. The problem still. Ontinues to be the arrogance of not loading up talent at qb and nt.

If we draft any of those guys (the only one I really dont like is Jones) ....watch out AFCW
You've been lobbying hard all year for Stanzi.
If you really think that Stanzi is our future, why would we want to draft any of these guys?

the fact that Jackson has played well for 5 games in 3 years, doesn't redeem spending the 3rd pick in the draft on him...

I hate that I think you're right. Our bet hope is for stanzi to become Tom Brady. That's sad.

He's played well most of this season. I don't see why it matters that it took 3 years to get there.

becuase he was the third pick in the draft...and he's a solid DE against the run with no pass rush pressure...which means we waited two years for the production level of a 3rd round pick

it's a piece of shit pick any way you slice it

Hey you never know. Perhaps he will light it up and we can trade him to NE and get our Cassel pick back. *Snicker*

I hope this gives us a chance to see Rick Stanzi, at some point as well. With the games we have coming up, it's not like we have anything to lose.

In a 2 gap 3-4 his job isn't to rush the passer. It's to occupy gaps. And he's become a quality starter. The 2009 draft was pretty lousy for most teams. But Jackson is a better pick than curry and okung. It could have been much worse. Even with sanchize I think we would see similar threads for him as we see for Cassel.

Finally the football gods decided to end our misery.

For the record, I hate pioli for the qb decision, the nt decision, the stubbornness to defend the qb decision, the tunnel vision to hire Weis and crennel and the unimagitativeness to build a system he's not used to (see Thomas dimitroff). This pick however is not as bad as people make it to be, especially when Sanchez is nothing more than a slightly better game manager than cassel.
