I was just saying if Stanzi shows something just not enough to not draft a first rounder. However in that case just draft the first round guy and hand him the reigns. If Charles and MO come back healthy and we keep Bowe this offense could be pretty good. Add a couple more pieces in the draft and it's looking up.

I think people care too much about where a player is taken in the draft. A good coach would let them fight it out and if the 5th rounder can beat the 1st rounder so be it. If not the competition helps the 1st rounder get better. Either way, no harm done by the competition. The goal is to play the best player, not the highest draft pick.

I'd take 6th round pick Tom Brady or 3rd round pick Joe Montana over number one picks Jamarcus Russel or Tim Couch.

Let them compete and let the best man win.
