IIRC the lifted lockout happened for one day and it fell on a day after the first and second round had already happened.

Those guys got their playbook because there was no lockout...Stanzi didnt get his till the day training camp opened....he even said as much in an interview yesterday.

The part I felt was totally ignorant was the part where you called him a statue in the pocket.

Sorry, but that was totally the opposite of what Ive seen over 3 years of watching Iowa play. He feels the pressure very well and has good instincts in where to slide to avoid pressure and deliver a nice, accurate ball because he is able to step up and use his mechanics properly.

He is absolutely NOT a statue in the pocket.

Pre-season or not, Gifhorse's gifs in the Rams game show me that Stanzi can at least read the field, check down, and throw accurately more than 30 yards downfield.
